I'm Sener, an electronics engineer based in the Netherlands. I design PCBs and build embedded systems with ESP32, Zigbee and Raspberry Pi, for work and for fun.

I started Automation Gear Hub because most smart-home "reviews" never plug anything in. They rewrite the spec sheet and add a buy button. I'd rather put the device on the bench and find out: does the power reading match a reference meter? How far does the Zigbee signal really reach through two walls? Does it keep working when the internet is down?
